Inspired by the folk myths and legends of wild rice, an indigenous grass of the Midwest and Great Lakes regions. Wild rice is referred to as manoomin by the Ojibwe people, meaning “good berry”. Made in commemoration of the stories and legends surrounding this miraculous plant.
