An edition of hand printed, hand bound artist books, featuring original artwork and screen printed pages & cover.

Six months in development, this project involved creating a limited edition of handmade books based on 19th century Der Struwwelpeter by Heinrich Hoffmann.

Made entirely from scratch by hand, using archival, acid-free materials.

Individually signed and numbered in a limited edition of 58 books.

    Der Struwwelpeter, first published in Germany in 1844, contains ten cautionary tales for children, each one with a clear moral and overly exaggerated consequences for misbehavior. In one parable, a mother warns her son not to suck his thumbs. The son continues his habit. Ships safely packaged with care. The book is wrapped in archival plastic sleeve, and safely packed with bubble wrap in sturdy cardboard. Tracking and insurance are included for orders placed within the US.
