Monday night was the Magnetic Fields concert I have been excitedly anticipating for some time. It was a such good time and we had excellent seats. Harris Theater, where they played, is a really beautiful contemporary theater. This is also the first concert I’ve been to where there was an intermission… which was perfect because we got over two hours of music altogether. I wish I had a less shaky camera, these photos don’t exactly do justice to Stephin Merritt and the view from our seats.
Also, Monday night was some fantastically gorgeous fog happening all through Chicago! Incredibly thick and rich, like a horror movie set with all the ghastly lights coming through. We drove past the lake and I shot some video but it’s really too dark to post. Then we went to the Golden Apple for some greasy food :)
