We have been on a hunt for a new apartment for quite some time now (hence the recent lag in postings), it is one of the most stressful experiences I’ve had to go through this year, and it’s still not over! Brook is in search of a studio since he will no longer be able to use the ones at SAIC (he just graduated), so we have been looking at a million spaces and loft possibilities. The search led us to the Pilsen neighborhood last week, where I hung out for a while at a cafe while Brook was in a meeting. I haven’t been drawing nearly as much as I want to, or should be, the apartment search and the impending move taking precedence, so it felt wonderful to just sit by myself and quietly sketch the people in the shop. Given this, I decided to go back to working on the daily drawings and posting them. At least it gets me to draw every day, if even for a bit :)
