Printer’s Ball is coming up! As a member of CPG – Chicago Printer’s Guild – I have been very fortunate to be involved with Printer’s Ball this year, presented by the Poetry Foundation. You can read more about the event on their website. Each participating printer from CPG was randomly placed with a participating poet/writer. Each poem is reinterpreted by the artist in the broadside format. There are 20 printers/poets participating, which means 20 awesome prints on exhibition at the opening! The poets will also be reading their pieces alongside the posters.
I just finished printing my poster yesterday, so it is fresh off the press. It is 12″ x 18″, in three colors, printed on olive green French paper. There are 53 in the edition, plus a few printed on lighter green stock.
