It’s not exactly “daily” lately. We have guests! A full house for the next few days along with the world’s sweetest chihuahua named Waldo. Hooray for friends!
Furnishing and decorating has been on my mind so much lately. This is our new chair, it’s older so it’s got a bit of character. In markers & colored pencil.

Here are some mini prints I made for Art on Track! They’re transport-themed and have German subtitles, so now everyone can learn German bwahaha! Each one is a tiny 2-color screen print measuring 2.5 x 4 inches. They can be purchased for a dollar (yep!) from the new sticker machines at Spudnik Press, with all the proceeds going to Spudnik :)

The magenta fabric is flannel and the blue fabric is felt. First time I ever used neon pink ink! The creatures were then stuffed and sewn together into three-dimensional sculptures by the lovely CJ Mace for display in the train car.

Yay, updates. Things that have held me back from blogging, beginning with……
1. Successfully moved into new place last Saturday – HOWEVER….
2. NO electricity!! Had to wait 4 days to get electric, grrrr. Apparently the previous tenants had not paid their bill so the electric company cut off their service.
3. Previous tenants also left the apartment dirty. Gah!!
4. Thorough cleaning of apartment ensues, in preparation for……
5. My mom’s arrival from Phoenix on Wednesday!
6. Mom stays with us for four nights, super fun times with mom!
7. Printed mini prints for Art on Track
8. Manic unpacking & search for furniture
9. Internet still not hooked up – maybe middle of this week, maaaaybe??!
So… that about sums up last week. Crazy! And still so much stuff left to do! Once I un-bury my scanner and we buy some extension cords, I’ll be able to get back to daily drawing and regular posting. Until then, we have no internet so blogging will be a bit random this week. I will try to post some photos of the mini prints I printed for Art on Track next time I’m near wifi, so please check back soon :)
