Sanya Glisic is a Chicago-based illustrator and printmaker, originally from Bosnia. In 2010, she illustrated and hand-bound an edition of books based on 19th century collection of dark children's tales, Der Struwwelpeter. She has contributed illustration work to Penguin Group, Seven Stories Press, Black Candy Records, Newcity Magazine, and the Harold Washington Literary Award. Additionally, her work has been included in the recent exhibition at The Rubin Museum of Art in New York, as well as Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago. She recently completed a six-month Artist Residency at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, culminating in a solo exhibition of new print work.
